REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals )
Compliance of Ball Aerocan’s articles to REACH regulation
Ball Aerocan is following the regulatory evolution linked to REACH (Registration,
Evaluation, Authorisation and restrictions of Chemicals) that came into force on the 1st of June 2007.
Ball Aerocan roles under REACH are:
- Downstream user
- Article manufacturer
Ball Aerocan is aware of its REACH duties and is looking forward to fulfilling them.
The registration phase has been active since the 1st of January 2009. Ball Aerocan is in regular contact with its suppliers regarding the registration of substances purchased.
Ball Aerocan is following the update of the substances in the candidate list for inclusion in the annex XIV of the REACH regulation. The candidate list can be found on the following website:

None of the substances included the 28.10.2008 and the 13.01.2010, in the candidate list, is in concentration above 0,1 % by weight of the articles manufactured by Ball Aerocan.
